Walking into the IRC Day Room the other night was all I needed to get into the holiday spirit. For those of you who have been there, you know that this is no small room. And Tuesday night it was filled… FILLED… with long tables covered in gifts waiting to be wrapped.
There were bicycles waiting to be pedaled by laughing children, linens waiting tuck families in, teddy bears looking for someone to fall asleep hugging them.
The amount of donations, and the happy spirit of the volunteers, makes us know that Greensboro is a great community to call home.
